Introduction
The Aditya Hridaya Stotra, translated as "The Heart of Aditya (the Sun God)," is a sacred hymn from the Valmiki Ramayana (Yuddha Kanda, Sarga 105). It was revealed to Shri Rama by Sage Agastya on the battlefield of Lanka, just before Rama's final confrontation with Ravana. Revered for its profound power, it holds a special place in Hindu devotion and yogic tradition.
The stotra is described as sanatana-guhya (eternal secret), underscoring its divine origin and enduring relevance.
